NIMCET 2013 ADMIT CARDS

National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are Institutions of National Importance and are Centrally Funded Technical Institutes. The NIMCET is NIT MCA Common Entrance Test, a National Level Test conducted by NITs for admission in to their MCA programme. The admission to the MCA prgoramme in to NITs at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal for the year 2013-14 is based on the Rank obtained in NIMCET-2013 ONLY. The Curriculum and Syllabi of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme offered by NITs are designed considering the needs of different Information Technology firms in India and abroad. MCA graduates have high potential for jobs in IT Sector.

Opening date of online application: 13-02-2013
Closing date of online application: 13-04-2013
Closing date of printed application: 16-04-2013
Availability of Admit cards for Download: 07-05-2013 to 26-05-2013
Date of Examination: 26-05-2013
Time of Examination: 10:00 am to 12:00 noon
NOTE: - Reporting time for exam is 09:15am
Tentative Date of publication of results: 11-06-2013

TEST PATTERN:-
           NIMCET-2013 test will be conducted with only one question paper containing 120 multiple choice questions covering the following subjects. Multiple Choice Questions will be written in English Language only and will not be translated into any other language.
1. Mathematics                                                    50 questions
2. Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning        40 questions
3. Computer Awareness                                      10 questions
4. General English                                               20 questions

Award of Mark: - Each correctly answered question will carry FOUR marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to NEGATIVE ONE mark.
The candidates are advised not to attempt such questions if they are not sure of the correct answer.
No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if a question is unanswered. More than one answer indicated against a question will be negatively marked.
The candidates have to mark the responses in the OMR sheet using black or blue ink ball point pen only.
